1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing senpai.org.in, enrolling in a course, submitting a contact or demo request, or using the student dashboard, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you are enrolling on behalf of a minor (a student under 18), you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of that student and that you accept these terms on their behalf.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform or enrol in any course.

2. What Kenpai provides

Kenpai is an online coding education platform offering:

  • Pre-recorded video lessons delivered through the student dashboard
  • Live 1-on-1 mentorship sessions conducted via video call (Google Meet or similar)
  • Weekly assignments with written mentor feedback
  • Course progress tracking via the student dashboard
  • Course completion certificates on successful completion

All courses are delivered in English. Sessions are conducted by Krishna Sunil Sinha (Founder, Kenpai) or a qualified mentor assigned by Kenpai. We reserve the right to assign a substitute mentor where necessary, with advance notice given where possible.

Kenpai courses are designed for individual student use. A single enrolment covers one student. If you wish to enrol multiple students, each requires a separate enrolment.

3. Enrolment and access

Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Following successful payment, you will receive:

  • An enrolment confirmation email within 24 hours
  • Dashboard login instructions and access setup
  • Confirmation of your first session date and time

Dashboard access is granted for the duration of the enrolled course plus a 6-month grace period after completion, during which recorded lessons remain accessible for review.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Access may not be shared with or transferred to another person.

4. Payment terms

All course fees are charged as a one-time payment at enrolment. There are no recurring charges, subscriptions, or auto-renewals.

5. Refund policy

7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied after attending your first live session, you may request a full refund within 7 days of that session date — no questions asked.

How to claim a refund
The process is straightforward and takes less than 5 minutes on your end.
1
Contact us within 7 days of your first live session via email at sensei@senpai.org.in or WhatsApp at +91 88717 91904.
2
Include your full name, enrolled course, and payment confirmation (email or transaction ID). A reason is welcome but not required.
3
We will confirm your refund request within 2 business days and initiate the refund through Paypal.
4
Refunds are processed back to the original payment method. Processing time is typically 5–7 business days depending on your bank.

Refunds are not available in the following circumstances:

  • Requests made more than 7 days after the first live session
  • Courses where the student has attended 2 or more live sessions
  • Where the student has downloaded or accessed a substantial portion of the recorded lesson library without attending any live session

If you have not yet attended your first session and wish to withdraw before it, please contact us — we will work with you to find a solution, including rescheduling or a full refund as appropriate.

6. Session policy

Scheduling: Live sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement between the student (or parent/guardian) and the mentor. Sessions are typically held on weekends, with flexibility for weekday evenings.

Rescheduling: Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice. We will always try to accommodate rescheduling requests.

Missed sessions: If a student misses a session without prior notice, that session is considered used. We will make a reasonable effort to reschedule at our discretion. Repeated no-shows may result in the forfeiture of remaining sessions without refund.

Session recording: Sessions are not recorded by default. If you wish to record a session for personal review, please request this in advance and obtain explicit consent from the mentor.

Technical requirements: Students are responsible for having a stable internet connection, a working webcam, and a functional development environment for their course. Kenpai is not responsible for session quality issues caused by the student's technical setup.

7. Acceptable use

By using Kenpai's platform, you agree to:

  • Use the platform and its content for personal educational purposes only
  • Not share, resell, redistribute, or republish any course content without written permission
  • Not share your login credentials with any other person
  • Treat all mentors and staff with respect during sessions and communications
  • Not use any knowledge gained from our courses for unlawful, harmful, or unethical purposes

For students under 18, the parent or guardian is responsible for ensuring appropriate use of the platform and content.

Kenpai reserves the right to suspend or terminate access — without refund — in cases of serious misconduct, abusive behaviour, or clear violation of these terms.

8. Intellectual property

All course content — including recorded video lessons, written assignments, curriculum materials, and design assets — is the intellectual property of Kenpai and is protected under applicable copyright law.

Enrolment in a course grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access the course content for your own educational use. This licence does not permit copying, redistribution, screen recording, or commercial use of any materials.

Student work produced during a course (assignments, projects, capstones) remains the intellectual property of the student. Kenpai may request permission to use student projects as anonymised portfolio examples for promotional purposes; you are free to decline.

9. Limitation of liability

Kenpai provides educational content and mentorship in good faith. However, we make no guarantees about specific learning outcomes, employment results, or technical performance after completing a course.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kenpai's total liability to any user in connection with a course shall not exceed the amount paid for that course. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

The platform is provided "as is" and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve platform issues promptly.

10. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Kenpai platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.

For international users (including those in the UK and EU), we also acknowledge our obligations under applicable consumer protection regulations in your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

For enrolled students, we will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

If you have any questions about these terms, please contact us at sensei@senpai.org.in or via WhatsApp.
